Chattahoocheeonline, has posed a series of questions to Kathy Johnson, of the Twin City News. We have yet to receive a reply. We have offered Kathy Johnson the opportunity to conduct an interview with Mr. Stanley Wells, about the fire at the Wing Station. It seems as if she can write a good story, but she lacks the courage to back it up. Hopefully Chattahoochee Police will not be influenced by her again as they were when she was a factor behind the wrong man being arrested for murder, and caused the city of Chattahoochee, and unwanted legal suit.

I am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as the greatest demonstration for freedom in the history of our nation.
Five score years ago, a great American, in whose symbolic shadow we stand today, signed the Emancipation Proclamation. This momentous decree came as a great beacon light of hope to millions of Negro slaves who had been seared in the flames of withering injustice. It came as a joyous daybreak to end the long night of their captivity.
But one hundred years later, the Negro still is not free. One hundred years later, the life of the Negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of discrimination. One hundred years later, the Negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst of a vast ocean of material prosperity. One hundred years later, the Negro is still languished in the corners of American society and finds himself an exile in his own land. And so we've come here today to dramatize a shameful condition.
In a sense we've come to our nation's capital to cash a check. When the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence, they were signing a promissory note to which every American was to fall heir. This note was a promise that all men, yes, black men as well as white men, would be guaranteed the "unalienable Rights" of "Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness." It is obvious today that America has defaulted on this promissory note, insofar as her citizens of color are concerned. Instead of honoring this sacred obligation, America has given the Negro people a bad check, a check which has come back marked "insufficient funds."
But we refuse to believe that the bank of justice is bankrupt. We refuse to believe that there are insufficient funds in the great vaults of opportunity of this nation. And so, we've come to cash this check, a check that will give us upon demand the riches of freedom and the security of justice.
We have also come to this hallowed spot to remind America of the fierce urgency of Now. This is no time to engage in the luxury of cooling off or to take the tranquilizing drug of gradualism. Now is the time to make real the promises of democracy. Now is the time to rise from the dark and desolate valley of segregation to the sunlit path of racial justice. Now is the time to lift our nation from the quicksands of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood. Now is the time to make justice a reality for all of God's children.
It would be fatal for the nation to overlook the urgency of the moment. This sweltering summer of the Negro's legitimate discontent will not pass until there is an invigorating autumn of freedom and equality. Nineteen sixty-three is not an end, but a beginning. And those who hope that the Negro needed to blow off steam and will now be content will have a rude awakening if the nation returns to business as usual. And there will be neither rest nor tranquility in America until the Negro is granted his citizenship rights. The whirlwinds of revolt will continue to shake the foundations of our nation until the bright day of justice emerges.
But there is something that I must say to my people, who stand on the warm threshold which leads into the palace of justice: In the process of gaining our rightful place, we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds. Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred. We must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline. We must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical violence. Again and again, we must rise to the majestic heights of meeting physical force with soul force.
The marvelous new militancy which has engulfed the Negro community must not lead us to a distrust of all white people, for many of our white brothers, as evidenced by their presence here today, have come to realize that their destiny is tied up with our destiny. And they have come to realize that their freedom is inextricably bound to our freedom.
We cannot walk alone.
And as we walk, we must make the pledge that we shall always march ahead.
We cannot turn back.
There are those who are asking the devotees of civil rights, "When will you be satisfied?" We can never be satisfied as long as the Negro is the victim of the unspeakable horrors of police brutality. We can never be satisfied as long as our bodies, heavy with the fatigue of travel, cannot gain lodging in the motels of the highways and the hotels of the cities. We cannot be satisfied as long as the negro's basic mobility is from a smaller ghetto to a larger one. We can never be satisfied as long as our children are stripped of their self-hood and robbed of their dignity by signs stating: "For Whites Only." We cannot be satisfied as long as a Negro in Mississippi cannot vote and a Negro in New York believes he has nothing for which to vote. No, no, we are not satisfied, and we will not be satisfied until "justice rolls down like waters, and righteousness like a mighty stream."¹
I am not unmindful that some of you have come here out of great trials and tribulations. Some of you have come fresh from narrow jail cells. And some of you have come from areas where your quest -- quest for freedom left you battered by the storms of persecution and staggered by the winds of police brutality. You have been the veterans of creative suffering. Continue to work with the faith that unearned suffering is redemptive. Go back to Mississippi, go back to Alabama, go back to South Carolina, go back to Georgia, go back to Louisiana, go back to the slums and ghettos of our northern cities, knowing that somehow this situation can and will be changed.
Let us not wallow in the valley of despair, I say to you today, my friends.
And so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream.
I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal."
I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia, the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.
I have a dream that one day even the state of Mississippi, a state sweltering with the heat of injustice, sweltering with the heat of oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice.
I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.
I have a dream today!
I have a dream that one day, down in Alabama, with its vicious racists, with its governor having his lips dripping with the words of "interposition" and "nullification" -- one day right there in Alabama little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers.

I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, and every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight; "and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed and all flesh shall see it together."2
This is our hope, and this is the faith that I go back to the South with.
With this faith, we will be able to hew out of the mountain of despair a stone of hope. With this faith, we will be able to transform the jangling discords of our nation into a beautiful symphony of brotherhood. With this faith, we will be able to work together, to pray together, to struggle together, to go to jail together, to stand up for freedom together, knowing that we will be free one day.
And this will be the day -- this will be the day when all of God's children will be able to sing with new meaning:
My country 'tis of thee, sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing.
Land where my fathers died, land of the Pilgrim's pride,
From every mountainside, let freedom ring!
And if America is to be a great nation, this must become true.
And so let freedom ring from the prodigious hilltops of New Hampshire.
Let freedom ring from the mighty mountains of New York.
Let freedom ring from the heightening Alleghenies of Pennsylvania.
Let freedom ring from the snow-capped Rockies of Colorado.
Let freedom ring from the curvaceous slopes of California.
But not only that:
Let freedom ring from Stone Mountain of Georgia.
Let freedom ring from Lookout Mountain of Tennessee.
Let freedom ring from every hill and molehill of Mississippi.
From every mountainside, let freedom ring.
And when this happens, when we allow freedom ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God's children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual:

Giglio, Italy (CNN) -- The head of Italy's coast guard said late Monday that 29 people are still unaccounted for from the partially sunken cruise ship Costa Concordia -- a sharp spike from earlier estimates of the missing.
In an interview on Italian television, as reported by the state ANSA news agency, coast guard chief Marco Brusco said that the whereabouts of four crew members of 25 passengers was still unknown.
Authorities earlier had believed 16 people were unaccounted for.
The Costa Concordia hit rocks Friday night just off Italy's western coast, leading to what passengers described as a chaotic and surreal scene to evacuate and the deaths of at least six people.
On Monday, rescue efforts were ongoing in and around the mammoth vessel, which was listing on its side off the island of Giglio.
The search had been suspended earlier in the day because the vessel began to move, said the island's mayor, Sergio Ortelli.
Coast Guard spokesman Filippo Marino said efforts had resumed, adding that rescuers will focus on retrieving the body of a man, presumably a passenger, discovered earlier in the day.

However, he said the forecast has rescuers worried, as it calls for rising winds.
Italian prosecutors Monday ruled out a technical error as the cause of the incident, saying the captain was on the bridge at the time and had made a "grave error."
Captain Francesco Schettino is under arrest and may face charges that include manslaughter, shipwreck, and abandoning a ship when passengers were still on board, Italian prosecutor Francesco Verusio said.
Schettino could face up to 15 years in prison, Verusio said.
Schettino's attorney, Bruno Leporatti, said in a statement Monday the captain was "shattered, dismayed, saddened for the loss of lives and strongly disturbed."
But, he said, Schettino is "nonetheless comforted by the fact that he maintained during those moments the necessary lucidity to put in place a difficult emergency maneuver ... bringing the ship to shallow waters." That move, Leporatti said, saved the lives of many passengers and crew members.
The captain has not yet been questioned, but more than 100 witnesses, including passengers and crew, have been interviewed, the prosecutor said.
Schettino will be questioned by authorities at a hearing Tuesday, Leporatti said. At the closed hearing, a preliminary investigation judge will decide whether Schettino will remain detained.
The head of the company that owns the ship said Monday he has not given up hope of finding survivors.
"Hope is the last thing to die," said Costa Cruises chairman and chief executive Pier Luigi Foschi. He addressed journalists at an emotional press conference Monday, apologizing repeatedly for the accident.
Prosecutors are examining the ship's data recorder and expect to have results within days, Verusio said.
They are also considering whether others may share responsibility for the crash with the captain.
Foschi placed blame for the wreck squarely on the captain, however, saying Schettino had deviated from frequently traveled routes.
"The captain decided to change the route and he went into water that he did not know in advance," Foschi said.
He said the company was limited in its ability to investigate the incident because they did not have the data recorder.

Schettino, who has been with Costa since 2002, had never been involved in an accident before, Foschi said.
He downplayed the possibility that alcohol may have played a role in the crash, saying he did not believe Schettino drank, and that all crew were subject to random drug and alcohol tests by Costa Cruises.
The company had said earlier that Schettino may have made "significant" errors that led to the wreck.
"The route of the vessel appears to have been too close to the shore, and the captain's judgment in handling the emergency appears to have not followed standard Costa procedures," Costa Cruises said in a statement Sunday.
The ship had about 2,300 tons of fuel on board at the time of the wreck, Foschi said Monday, adding that so far there was "absolutely no evidence of fuel leaking into the sea."
Divers have been searching the skyscraper-sized ship, working underwater in pitch blackness, in hopes of finding the missing. There were roughly 4,200 people on the Costa Concordia when it ran aground Friday evening off Giglio.
Among those unaccounted for were two Americans. The U.S. State Department identified them Monday as Gerald and Barbara Ann Heil. The U.S. Embassy has requested information from "anyone with information" regarding the Heils' whereabouts, the State Department said.
The Heils live in White Bear Lake, Minnesota, according to CNN affiliate WCCO, and have four children and 15 grandchildren. Their daughter, Sarah, told CBS Radio in Chicago that the couple was planning to travel after retiring, WCCO said.
The disaster will cost the ship's owner $85 million to $95 million in the fiscal year to November, parent company Carnival Corporation said Monday -- not including "other costs to the business that are not possible to determine at this time."
Foschi said passengers would get "material compensation for their loss," but declined to go into details.

The ship is expected to be out of service "for the remainder of the current fiscal year if not longer," the company said.
Schettino joined Costa Cruises as a safety officer in 2002 before being appointed captain four years later, the company said.
Even with its admission that mistakes were made, the Genoa-based cruise company defended the ship's crew in the face of criticism on the part of some passengers, who said the crew appeared helpless and overwhelmed as passengers rushed for lifeboats.
"It is becoming clear that the crew of the Costa Concordia acted bravely and swiftly to help evacuate more than 4,000 individuals during a very challenging situation," the company said, adding all crew members are trained and the passengers earlier took part in an evacuation drill.
Survivors have described the scene -- after the ship hit rocks near Giglio, off the coast of Tuscany, and turned over on its side -- as "chaos."
"It was just battling, mad scrambles," American student Brandon Warrick said of the fight to board lifeboats, describing it as "a giant every-man-for- himself."
His sister Amanda said she feared she was going to die as they waited for up to two hours for rescue.
"Waiting was definitely the worst. Because we didn't know who was going to be coming, how much longer we would have to wait," she said.
Some passengers braved the chilly water, with a temperature of about 57 degrees, and swam to safety. Others had no choice and fell in. Nighttime temperatures on Giglio have recently dipped below freezing.
Authorities have said at least 20 people were injured, in addition to those killed and missing.
Authorities are reviewing passenger lists to confirm the exact number of missing people, said Giuseppe Orsina, a spokesman with the local civil protection agency.
There were fears the death toll could rise as rescuers searched the ship, which was nearly 50% submerged and had a gash in its hull, authorities said.
Questions and criticism continue about what caused the shipwreck and the adequacy of the response.
Speaking on Italian television, the ship's captain insisted the rocks that the Concordia hit were not marked on his map.
"On the nautical chart, it was marked just as water," Schettino said, adding that the ship was about 328 yards (300 meters) from shore.
But Coast Guard spokesman Cosimo Nicastro insisted that the waters where the ship ran aground were well-mapped. Local fishermen say the island coast of Giglio is known for its rocky sea floor.
"Every danger in this area is on the nautical chart," Nicastro said. "This is a place where a lot of people come for diving and sailing. ... All the dangers are known."
He said the Coast Guard was investigating why the ship took the course it did.
"We know where the ship was," he said. "We know it was too close to the island. ... We don't know why."
Built in 2006, the Concordia had been on a Mediterranean cruise from Rome with stops in Savona, Marseille, Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca, Cagliari and Palermo.
The ship was carrying about 3,200 passengers and 1,000 crew members when it ran aground Friday night.
The dead include two elderly people found Sunday, two French tourists and a crew member from Peru, port authorities in Livorno said. One of the victims was a 65-year-old woman who died of a heart attack, authorities said. The Spanish Foreign Ministry named one of the victims Monday as Guillermo Gual Buades, 68, saying his family had identified him.

For the past 2 months, it seems that Mr. Lee Garner has directed Kathy Johnson, of the Twin City news to continue to write, and print negative article about myself, my mother, Cindy Glass and Jim Glass. I will admit, that before Kathy Johnson had wrote those negative articles about me in the Twin City News, I was prepared to leave all these issues alone, and just concentrate on my family. I was determined that Lee was going to get away with his criminal activity, and that’s why you did not hear from me for months. After, and only after, Kathy Johnson repeatedly attacked my character, by trying to play chief detective, did I decide firmly that I had did the proper thing by pursuing these issues. The buck will not stop at Mr. Lee Garner, because there are a lot of players in this. He has been enabled and empowered by those in charge of his position. I encourage Mr. Garner to seriously reflect on the character assassination that he has attempted on myself. I am in a position now, where I have nothing to lose from negative publicity. I am not worried about the public court. I am dis appointed however that you think this is the work of Mr. Jim Glass. In 2008-2009, I dealt with over $500,000 as a business owner. I have had to deal with all kinds of municipal governments, and officials, and never have I had to deal with a system where you are at the mercy of a city manager. This will not continue, and I am here to make sure that doesn’t happen to anyone else. I am content letting this play out in the courts , but if lies are continued to be perpetrated on my character, or facts slanted to benefit the ink, then I will continue to straighten the record and bring forth the truth, to the public, and I will not do it thru a once per week 11 page news paper. I do however think the town is being portrayed negatively, as I was reading an article yesterday, in a neighboring newspaper. Not all of our officials are corrupt. I am willing to let the civil courts, and the Ethics Commission settle our differences.

We, the new owners of chattahoocheeonline want to thank Mr. Wells for his sacrifice, and his dedication . We will not sit by and allow the real criminals, and thugs of our community to continue to rob and take from us. They are attempting to take away this gentlemans credibility by bringing up his past. We will not let the guilty and the foolish distract the message. After all who does not have issues they have had to deal with. If they continue to attack you, we will be there to defend, until justice has been served, and all citizens have the same oppurtunities, not just the few.

RIVER JUNCTION WORK CAMP IN CHATTAHOOCHEE TO CLOSE AS PART OF A STATEWIDE REDUCTION.
The Florida Department of Corrections announced that Seven Prisons and Four Work Camps will be closed as part of their statewide consolidation plan. No Inmates will be released early as a result of the consolidation. River Junction Work Camp in Chattahoochee is on the list. Closure date will be February 1st. Their current capacity is 736 Inmates.

It has been reported to Chattahoocheeonline, that Mr. L.B. Howell who was present, and made several motions of oposition to Stanley Wells presenting the council the charges against Lee Garner, was in posession of a firearm during and after the council meeting Tuesday night. This was witnessed by several people. His words when he pulled out his firearm was, if he would have got out of line, I would have had something for him. I don't expect Chattahoochee to take up this issue, but it will be addressed.You can say what you want, but a gun takes it to a whole different level.

Chattahoochee - Businessman, Stanley Wells, tried addressing his complaints at Tuesday night's city commissioners meeting. But council members told him the investigation is a private matter for Garner and that they will not address the matter while it is still under investigation.
Wells is accusing Garner of misappropriation of funds when it comes to grant money for certain projects. He listed a few of those projects but would not reveal how he came upon the information. One of those projects include some renovations at Southside Park .
We spoke to Garner by phone to get his comment about the ethics complaint filed against him. He did not want to talk on record and instead referred us to his attorney.
WCTV tried calling the attorney, but there was no answer, and as of yet, we have not heard back.

Why are we talking about this mans misdemeonor criminal history. We have individuals employeed by the city of Chattahoochee, and Mr. Garner, with hard core Felonies. I don't care if the man robbed a bank, All I care about is did Lee Garner mis handle Millions of Chattahoochee's money. If so why are we defending him?

they need to fire the whole city. cause they are ripping resident off with light bills and misusing grant money. they took the volleyball net from the southside play ground know that was the neighbor hood favor sport. they only care about money. and up town citzens.
The truth about South Side Park will come out soon. The park was built on top of a devistating oil spill. When they began digging to renovate the park, they must have struck old buried oil drums, and they began to blast oil up from the ground onto the soil. All Lee Garner did was cover it up with sand and began construction. Now our kids are playing on top of contaminated soil. He always talks about our boys and girls club, but when it comes to the almighty dollar, Lee Garner will sell his wife. The city received over $200,000 to refurbish that park. Now I ask you does that park look like it received even $200,000 in upgrades? Fifty one percent of the grant was spent on administrative costs. Lee Garner in my opinion stole from our kids. What's worse, no minority company was given the chance to bid. He did not abide by the rules of advertizing, that are set forth in the guidelines, in an effort to keep the money flowing to the same construction company. There is so much that you don't know that you will learn in the coming days. He attempted to do the same thing with the Crawfish Island project, but was blocked by Mr. Jim Glass. There are a lot of people believed to be involved in this illegal scheme, including The Twin City News, and past, and present councilman. People are getting kick backs and incentives from this grant money, and cutting minorities out of their slice of the pie. We are talking about Millions of dollars over the years, that have been stolen. Mr. Garners job is not the only thing at stake. I will use all my resources to make sure that he never steals from anyone else again. I will not rest, until Mr. garner is prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, for his crimes.

Sources tell Chattahoocheeonline that our energy supplier, Progress Energy was at The League of Cities Conference, in Orlando Florida, with our City Manager, and our City Councilman. It has been rumored that some were wined and dined by the giant energy supplier. I have yet to confirm this, but one of the Mayors attending is a friend of Chattahoocheeonline, so facts will be forth coming soon.

This is the response that City Manager Lee Garner gave me for the utility rates. I do want to thank Lee for his promt response, and his willingness to respond to my questions about our rates.
Stan:
The sewer rate is 290% of the water usage and it set by ordinance. This was caused a few years ago when we had to borrow $1.2 million to upgrade the sewer plant and this is the amount needed to repay the loan. If you will check, you will still see that our utility rates are in line with others in the area, except maybe for the current electric rates in Quincy who were given a sweetheart of a deal for five years from FMPA at the beginning of the year. We have a contract with Progress Energy and our rates we get from them are competitive and we did not have any rate increases from 1991 until a couple of years ago on electricity a fact that everyone seems to forget, a period of over 18 years with no increase in electric rates. This past month we had 33 days in the billing cycle, with 23 days with 97 degree weather or above, which caused the consumption for everyone to go up. I ask that you and anyone that you talk to, look at the consumption in KW’s over last month and see what the increase is and you will see that it is increased by a large amount. I know that the economy is in a bad situation, but we do not get any grace period from our supplier to make late payments and we expect those who consume our utilities to also pay on time. Our rates are the same as they have been for about 1.5 years, $0.936 per KW. The other charges are for transportation and other related charges that we have no control over and they are passed on to the customer each month as our cost adjustment line item. I will be glad to go over each line item on the utility bill for anyone who desires to better inform them of what the charges are related to.

It had been a long and sometimes rocky relationship between the City of Quincy and utilities provider Progress Energy. Progress Energy, for the past 50 years, has been the sole supplier of energy to the city. And, the city was at times, as much as $2 million in the red with its own utility payment to the company. At one point the company threatened to cut the city's utilities off and suggested city officials call the governor for help to pay the utility bill.

It was a pleasure meeting some of the key leaders of Gadsden County, and the Director of our local branch of the EEOC. I would like to thank President Sam Palmer President of our Regional Area NAACP. At this meeting I listened a lot, and walked away with a lot. First thing I have come to realize, is that Gadsden County as a whole has tons of issues with equality, and a lot of us don’t want to address the issue. I thought Chattahoochee had issues, but it pales in comparison to the fight that is raging in Gadsden County as a whole. It was encouraging to see strong black leaders be so strong and vocal about what is happening in Gadsden County. I really heard some stories that would make your hair stand up on your head. The EEOC was just as shocked as I was, since the majority of these situations and cases never cross their desk. That means that people see no hope that things will not get better. Things will never change. They were not surprised at the stories I had to tell, and frankly had some stories to tell me, about my own town. The hardest part about the fight for equality for all is that people don’t stand up and fight until it happens to them, and then they're still scared to engage. There is a misconception that the NAACP is only out to help blacks, and that is clearly not the case. The NAACP has evolved into an organization that tackles issues for all that have been discriminated against for one reason or another the elderly, persons of various religions, and all women. The few that have the power are skilled at hanging onto it, and have no intentions of making things equal for all. They know what to say, what to do, and how to use the loop holes in the system to keep the balance of power tilted their way. Case and point, look at our upcoming Council appointment. I don’t know Jerry Wynn, so I am not in a position to judge him, but I do know he was voted out of office,by the registered voters who partook in the process. See, I couldn’t figure out what Lee Garner, treasurer for the Northwest League of Cities, was up to when Susan Blume was Mayor, and then suddenly she wasn’t. Then Annette Bates was Mayor, but neither Susan Blume nor Annette Bates was signing any of the paper work as Mayor, for the month of August, and I know this is the case, because I called a city employee and asked him who signed his check, and it was neither our appointed Mayor, nor our Mayor pro-tem and the acting Mayor is the person who signs all the checks. Then I heard that Jerry Wynn had entered the race for the council seat appointment. Now, it would be extremely unethical in my opinion, for this Council to appoint someone to the Council seat that registered voters in his district just voted off the Council in the last election. If someone that has lost a recent election race, decides that he wants to reenter the Council, he should be free to do so, but that should be a decision made by his district of registered voters not the Council. The will of the people was heard at the last election, and is the Council just going to ignore that? Stay tuned to see how this plays out, and one thing is for sure, we will uncover the dirt.
Back to the EEOC, There is nothing wrong with second chances, and I can certainly say, no matter WHAT you have done in your life, or have not done, or what your background history is, Chattahoochee will hire you, or give you an opportunity to serve, more so then any City I have ever seen, and there is a misconception out there, that if your if you have made mistakes in your life, that you can never hold a job with the City, or State, or run for Political Office. Not true, the one good thing about Chattahoochee compared to other cities, your background does not disqualify you from service, or employment. Remember that when it comes to applying for a job, or running for Council, or whatever else you may want to accomplish.

Now that Lee Garner City Manager of Chattahoochee Florida, is facing ethics charges, Kathy Johnson editor of The Twin City News, fails to report on it, another sign of Lee Garners power.

I have just been informed of something, that I think is quite crazy. Now I can't think of any other government that would do this except, the present government we have running The City of Chattahoochee. It has come to my attention, that anyone can get access to your personal information through the City of Chattahoochee. Anyone can come up to City Hall and request to see your file with the City,a stalker, a murderer, a pedophile. In that file contains your personal information, such as your social security number, drivers license number, and also where you live. This has been done on several ocassions, and has yet to be corrected. If you want the personal information on anyone, all you have to do is go to City Hall, and they will give you someone else's file. That is crazy. Try calling Georgia Power, and ask for someone elses information and see how fast they shut you down.I try to let people fight their own battles. I am a big boy and so are they, but everytime you look around, Kathy Johnson and Lee Garner are constantly pushing peoples buttons. It has come to my attention, that Kathy Johnson, went to City Hall and requested Cindy Glasses file. They handed Kathy Johnson Cindy Glasses file with all this womens personal information in it, and now Cindy is having problems with someone pulling her credit file pretending to be her, to access her information, and no one knows who it is. Go figure.Lee Garner is over that department. Why won't they just leave that women alone? People always talk about other people and what they do, and how much mess they keep going, but it's things like that that you don't see, that you don't know, how people use their press credentials. Peolpe are dropping the Twin City News from their establishments, for a reason. I went into the BP the other day looking for a paper, and was told they don't carry it anymore. I have been told of verbal child abuse. Don't just email me these things let the right people know. Don't be afraid. Press Credentials are certified by our Sherriff Morris Young, and if you feel like you have been a victim of stalking, and harrassement feel free to make a formal complaint, in writing to Sherriff Morris Young. Sooner or later, someone will take notice. They may call you crazy at first, but someone else has seen the same things you have, I promise. Florida Department of Law Enforcement has warned the City of Chattahoochee that you cannot give out persons Social Security Numbers, Date of Births. I have sent a letter to Jerry Askins at WCTV News, to help put a stop to this situation. It is illegal
I saw a guy onetime buying a copy of The Twin City News. In the coin rack, instead of putting in 50 cents he put in a penny. He saw me looked, and laughed. He said man, that's all it's worth.
This is a response from one of our readers. All you have to do is ask your City Manager has this ever happened. Please let me know his response. I am sure he will not lie to you, but you need to ask him first, and get YOUR facts straight. Chattahoochee just adopted the policy within the last couple of months to black out social security numbers, but it has still happened.

Stanley, Stanley, Stanley...you need to get your facts straight. If I were to go into City Hall and pull the utilities record for one of my neighbors the Social Security number would NOT be given to me, it would be blacked out. The Driver's License numbers are not protected because they are public record. I can get them online. The BP does not sell any local papers, tell the whole truth here, you make it sound like they are singling out just the TCN. And as stated so well a while back the statement about Never knowing what you can find out by asking the right person, well, one can find out a lot about a person on the internet as well, especially if you are willing to pay a nominal fee. It's all out there, you just have to know where to look. And when are you going to give us all these answers and proof you were talking about. Many of your followers are still waiting.
