The General Lee Garner

This has been a long road, but unknowingly to the powers that be we are making great strides to rid our town of corruption. This now goes well beyond local issues, and local remedies, but I am glad to say, there are those on a Federal level looking into our issues. I have had several calls lately from individuals who are wondering if they have been denied credit, or been victims of mortgage fraud, and other issues, since it has been reported that Lee Garner sits on the Board of Directors of Focus Credit Union. I will tell you that the proper agency is aware of your concerns, and will get to the bottom of all of this, as we did with the deception of the Internet Café issue. Lee Garner got on WCTV News, pretending to dislike the idea of the Internet Café in our town, when he issued the provisional permits, without the Council’s approval, and sat on the Board of Directors of Diamond Academy, the company that owned the building that the Internet Café was in. Lee Garner is responsible for personal information of citizens in the community being compromised, such as their social security numbers, date of birth, and driver’s license number. It has been revealed to me that Lee has been guilty of using our inmate worker program, to accommodate his friends, and business acquaintances, while writing it off as infrastructure problems. Lee has been accused of predatory lending, by lending financially burdened individual monies, and charging them outrageous interest on that money. He has been accused of receiving kick backs from our energy company that our city contracts with, while we continue to struggle to pay our energy bills. He has been accused of attempted assault on a Councilman’s wife. A friend of mine told me a few weeks ago, that if you didn’t have the numbers against Lee Garner, that nothing could be done. Well I am here to tell you within the next few months a lot will happen, and we did it without the numbers. We had the proof, and,it was all because of the actions of a few. No government official is more powerful then the people they serve.

I have notified all the Agencies that Kathy Johnson has called over the past year, of what's going on in Chattahoochee. These agencies, as I, are getting sick and tired of her using the Media, to do her dirty work. Let's see she has called The Department of Business Professionals and Regulations in Tallahassee, at least 4 times She has called The Federal EPA, at least twice She has called The Bureau of Fire and Arson. She has taken out Police reports with Chattahoochee Police Department, Sneads Police Department, Decatur County Sherriff Dept. She attempted to get an injunction placed on me, she calls my landlord, City Hall, has went before the Councli. She calls and says she is the media, and they jump like frogs. Whose next. It's Pathetic that a news reporter would spend this much time on one little bitty person. How much stalking and harrassement am I going to get. This is becoming an obsession for her. Kathy, I am not going away. You and Lee calling all these agencies to shut me down won't work, and looks sad.. Everybody remembers how this all started, it started because I decided to open a business right across the street from Kathy Johnson's house. She could not figure out how I was able to do the things I did and afford the things I had, so she assumed I was a drug dealer. Even resorting to telling the Police I had stolen vehicles next door to her, and from there she got Lee Garner involved. That's how this thing started between Kathy, Lee, and I, she didn't want a black man next door to her conducting what she assumed was an illegal business.

People, our town is going in reverse. Every business in town has a sad story to sing, many are talking about packing it up. Small business is what fuels this country. If you don't ensure their future, people will go elsewhere. Utility costs are out the roof for us all, but we can afford to lend Florida State Hospital money to buy generators, that had nothing to do with saving jobs. What city, loans a State money? Come election time we must let our voices be heard. although election time is in the near future, no election is more important to you, then your local election. Those are the ones that directly effect your financial status. In this town it seems like the rich stay rich, and the poor stay in their place. See I have learned that everyone in Chattahoochee has their place. If you have not noticed all the powerful men and women attend the same Church in town. When it comes time to put someone on the Council, it is usually pre-planned. If they can't pre arrange it, and there has to be a major vote, a plot is put into place to split the black vote, and slide the candidate of choice in. Do you know how the black vote gets split? A black candidate runs, whom some feel is a threat to win office. So some come up with the idea that if they can find another well known black figure in the community, that they can promote to run against the other. The black community gets split between the two, and what happens, BAM, the black vote means nothing, because it has been deminished between two candidates. So what happens. Neither black candidate wins. Let's not fall for that this year. I am telling you that that has already been planned, so when you see strong black candidates appear don't be surprised. And second, I hear so many people tell me that they have elected black candidates in the past, and they have done nothing to help their districts. My words to you, is you elected the wrong ones. You voted for puppets, that in reality, were already hand selected. Don't give up. There are black people who will stand up for their districts, but at the same time be fair to all. Remember to having the right person in office transends color. I have had some white people do more for me then a black man ever would. My word to my people is don't let other people stratagize on how to deminish our vote, and in turn our voice. We are going to change Chattahoochee, it is in my spirit to tell you so. Some won't like this message, but I am not in this to make friends politically.

The attachment is from the Twin City News (TCN), July 7, 2011 edition. This is how the TCN is using the money it receives from businesses who advertise with it.

Some of you may no longer live in Chattahoochee/Sneads area. But a lot of you still visit family here. Therefore, this shows you what is happening in your hometown community.

1. The "state parks" editorial ran on the front page headlines. Kathy S. Johnson (managing editor, tcnews@fairpoint.net; 850-663-225) has been asked not to use the community newspaper headlines for editorials. She has been asked to keep the "editorials" on the "editorial" pages. As you see, Ms. Johnson refuses to do so.

2. The "Cox's Corner" article shows Ms. Johnson's regular effort to have "liberal" opinion by featured columnists. In the last week, Ms. Johnson was asked to run a featured columnist who provided contrasting "conservative" opinions. This was requested to provide balance of opinions on the editorial pages. Ms. Johnson refused to run either of the "conservative" columns.

3. The Gov. Scott drawing is Ms. Johnson's semi-weekly feature of "liberal" political cartoons aimed at "conservative" politicians.
Let me start off by saying Kathy Johnson and Company, grow up. Please stop playing on this site. First of all it does not take a rocket scientist for somone to figure out who you are. I didn't tell you who Ann was did I, but you think you figured that one out, so what is so different about someone thinking, from the tone of your comments, that ooh yes, that must be Kathy from the Twin City News. When you go under whose online, you can click on the persons profile and if someone knows a lot about you and where you are from, they can piece things together, especially if you use facebook. We don't care who you really are. We at no time devulge any info on anybody, We ourselves only know what you put in The only way I knew who you are is from your comments. You need to grow up. You will not stop this mission you are on no matter what will you? You lied to the Chattahoochee Police Dept, so that you could scandalize my name, and gain information about me.That was uncovered. You tried to hit me with an injunction, which a Judge threw clean out of his court, that was uncovered. You called DBPR to try to get my business shut down, that was uncovered, and thanks for that by the way, my mobile unit got an outstanding inspection. You have told people in the community lies on me, that was uncovered. You sent emails in the name of the Twin City News stating I have a Florida license, with Georgia tags, lies. You told the Judge in court my windshield was so dark you could not see who i was, that my car was illegal. Lies. You must not have any kind of life. I'd rather spend time with my family, then to focus time on you,. The only time I focus on you, is to respond to something stupid you have said or did. When will you get it. You will not deter me.Now, I made a decision, to not put your personal business in the street, especially, about the former director of Florida State Hospital, and how he beat your husband half to death, and how you at one time just went balistic out there at the hospital when you found out your husband was having an affair. Stop messing with me Kathy, before I put you whole life on front street. on this site. This is bigger then you for me, that is why I choose not to focus my time and energies on you, but if you want to go this route, ooh well. Waiting to see what childish thing you will say or do next. No one believes you. Not a Judge Not the public, No one. Stop this harassement. If you stop being so evil maybe your husband would stop drinking so much, and you can start having a somewhat normal life. Let's all be peaceful and live and let live.

	Dear Kareem,

I hope nothing but the best for you as you try to accomplish all the goals you set for yourself. I am happy you and Mrs Cherry came to a common understanding. You had the best of intentions by trying to organaize the talent show. Pray for us , because this is a battle that is going to be a long haul. We have had several conversations about Chattahoochee, and if the thinking of some will ever change., and will we all, ever advance to the point of where all of us, feel as if we have our place here. I hope you find happiness.

If you follow the articles I write, and I know you and Joe do, then you would remember in the previous article about Lee Garner, I said that some have said, that his mistresess derive from there. I never said he didn't care about the young kids in this town, It's the ones walking the streets without jobs, that he's overlooking. I do not back track, but I am not The Twin City News. I do not report onesided, I give it as it is. I highlight the good and bad, and when the young man questioned the City's committment to the youth, in our town, that deserved an appropriate response. It's called honest reporting. Trust me, I am no ones cheerleader.

This is in response, to the young man about Lee and Mrs Cherry shutting down his talent show. Lee Garner and I don't always see eye to eye. We even have major battles at times, but I do know he does a lot to support our young kids in Chattahoochee. Before you lower the boom on him on this one have you emailed him, or called him in connection with this. He has always resonded to me quickly through email. Try that first.

Well you are right, I dont't live here, but I plan to real soon. I think i have invested enough of my money in Chattahoochee, to be able to voice my opinion. Let's see now, Since December of last year I have spent over 60,000.00 in Chattahoochee, re conditioning my moms store, buying food products etc. Let's see I now have to pay the light bill at the store since due to my moms poor health, she is unable to afford it, and that bill is never under 900.00 per month. Let's see, I spend on an adverage of 1047.13 per week on food items that we buy either in Chattahoochee or Sneads, that's not including my actual food vendors. Let;s see, I spend over $30.00 per day either at the Kangaroo, or BP in gas , since i live over an hour away from here. I think for the amount of money that I spend here in Chattahoochee, which is more then the Gentleman who said, I do nothing for Chattahoochee probably spends, this ones for you.

Calling somone racial is something not to take lightly. It's easy to do, and we all have to catch ourselves on that one. We all have the right to our own opinion, and the freedom of speech to express that opinion. Just make sure you are confident and know exactly what you are talking about. I do not know Sandra Childs, so I cannot call her racial by no means. You're experience with her may make you see things differently, I don't know. I just want everyone to know that that is not my personal position on her. One of my writers wanted to run that in my article and I quickly corrected that and would not let him do that, but I will not knock you for having your own opinion. Also I do believe that you should be able to come onto this site without revealing who you really are. More crimes are solved in this country by people giving tips secretly then by any other means, so I support your being able to voice your opinion, but I do ask that we all practice a little temperance, as I am learning to do with this site, because once you put it out there, it is out there. alot of people, are waiting on the article to come out about Kathy Johson. At this point in time I choose not to publish that article, as Kathy Johnson is not my primary focus. Let's see if Chris Moultry's way to love your neighbor, and turn the other cheek works in this case. I just hope I don't get slapped on it.

The intent of my first article about Lee Garner, which contained a brief reference about the Wooden Nickel was not written to pick a fight with them, but rather to show how Lee does whatever he feels. Now I do apologize for offending this restaurant, but at the same time I will stand behind what I said concerning your licensing. Here is why. According to the records of DBPR which is the the agency that regulates restaurants, your plan review was not approved until Jan 13,2011. They issued you a license on Jan 20,2011. Kathy's article congratulating you on your reopening was Nov.11,2011. She said that your Chicken Salad was to die for .If you were not serving food prior to Jan 20, 2011, Then fine, I made a mistake and I apologize, but to my knowledge you were serving food before this date. If there is an error on your official license date then you need to address that with DBPR. According to your full page menu you were serving food prior to officially being licensed by the State of Florida.
