I assume from the statement you made on the home page that you are referring to Jerry Wynn.  FACT: In 2010, 458 voters (out of 1,657 - only 28% voted who were eligible) voted in the At-Large District election. Mr. Glass received 243 votes; Jerry Wynn 215 - a difference of 28 votes! Not exactly the WHOLE city.

Didn't I see you shake hands with Mr. Garner, whom I am neither indebted to nor does his power scare me, at a council meeting? yet you still seem to have a vendetta against him.

And as a side note, have you ever thought about using spell check?

So you can certainly understand - since you are clearly civic minded, Ann. - how we could be troubled by the latest events in Chattahoochee. So, just to be crystal clear, exactly how many merchants association events have been held???? And exactly why would a merchants association try to "bigfoot" an existing event (especially at Christmas time) such as the Gateway Chattahoochee celebration? As a longtime organizer of downtown and community events, it is common courtesy to work TOGETHER with other local organizations. Anything less is unprofessional to say the least. And, just so you know, people DO care what Sandra Childs thinks. Could it be that you feel threatened by someone who dares to interfere with personal agendas and self-serving so-called public servants??? Hmmm...something to ponder...

And lastly, Ann,  I would like to comment about the Merchant's Association.  We have only been involved with ONE Merchant's Association event.  Did we miss some somewhere?  The ONE seemed to be a success, but you make it sound like there have been several.  And we do look forward to more in the future.

What a joke, to have to listen to the ranting and ravings of  a woman who needs to stay at home. She is on a lone crusade to clean up Chattahoochee. She has the misconception that she is living in a "Gated Community." If you would attend you would ask yourself why does she even live here, she really hates this place. I can speak about her, because I remember when she came here and why, I even had the gross displeasure of working with her at Florida State Hospital. She hates anyone or anything who stands up to her. She has cost this City countless manpower, money and resources. She even has a group formed for her called Gateway Chattahoochee, by Lee Garner. Never more in attendance than five or six, including them. They downgrade the citizens of our town and how we live, her husband even purchased a radar gun to sit on their front porch to radar people on Morgan Avenue, our police force was not good enough either. She has never contributed to this town either other than in "MOUTH". Her latest endeavors will cost the citizens of this town, huge amounts of money. Let's don't forget how much time and money that was wasted on those speed bumps she wanted. If it is not her idea, no matter how stupid and ridiculous she is, you will get on her list. She blames her health these days on not producing any labor to her endeavors, but when her health was good, she didn't produce any either. She is kind of like L.B.( Bernie) Howell, people are afraid of being the victim of their constant verbal attacks. That is why they get away with what they do. They are either  APPALLED , EMBARRASSED or DISGUSTED. We all fill the same way about them, we just have a few more manners. Send them packing or home to the basement and the people of this town will become more involved. After a group is been in existence for 3 or 4 years and it doesn't produce, send the members home, it is obvious its them no one wants to deal with. It is a shame how they attack the leaders of our town, She attacks them because they try to make the City Manager held accountable. Follow behind the ones she attacks and see how they contribute to this town, not for recognition or a place on a board either. They help on their own time feeding, clothing, helping mow yards for the elderly, errands and constant support to the community. I know a couple of them who actually uses their City Pay each month to help the Elderly of our community, I know this first hand also, not as a recipient but as a bystander. They do not ask for recognition, they by far care and help. Go home, Sandra Childs, no one cares or wants to listen. You are the main reason our town doesn't get involved, people could not meet your standard, you can't be pleased. Do not be appalled at a young man for standing up for what he believes. After all we have listened to you for years. When are you going to get it, no one cares what you think. Give us all a break..... Do not confuse those few hand claps at the council meetings for CITY WIDE APPROVAL RATINGS...... and yes the people or person is  on point when they say  she will not be involved in groups she can not control......

Internet Cafes are so new, Florida has no one or nothing to make sure you as the consumer is not being taken advantage of.. this is why we have people in place in our communities to say no.. It is for our protection.. Be patient people till the lawmakers can get a handle on it. Not all of us have the good sense to know when we are being scammed. This is why we have councilmen and commissioners, or should  I say councilman and commissioners  who do their homework...

The words Adultery and Public Intoxication comes to mind. Some of us have a little memory left in us.  They come after those who scare them the most... Some of us appreciate you spending your money in our town.... The Younger Generation is what will make this town prosper in the end. Keep your head high and concentrate on making that business of yours a success. Please do not judge the people in this town from the comments made each and every meeting from the same few individuals. They do not SPEAK nor REPRESENT the rest of this town.......I know that those particular few have never made any significant contributions to our community only trouble. Do like the rest of us consider who they are and why they do what they do. Running your mouth is no contribution. At least the local tabloid does this for a living... You know  a profit... Unfortunately Good Deed doesn't sell only Dirt. Most of it usually Clay mixed with Rock.. Most of us enjoy reading Tabloids, we know it doesn't speak the truth. How did the City allow that to happen, looks like they slipped under the radar.
I will certainly visit that site before frequenting other establishments to eat. It evens tells of critical violations that restaurants have in their inspections. Interesting site indeed.
